About Rosehill

Serving everyone since 1999

Opened in 1999 as a multi-denominational cemetery serving all faiths and cultures, Rosehill Cemetery features 68 acres of space divided into several sections to meet the needs of families in SW Edmonton. Our sections are categorized based upon different denominations, faiths, and cultures, to better serve our diverse community.

Our burial sections are divided into the following categories to best respect the wishes of the families we serve:

• Large interdenominational section
• Ukrainian Catholic section
• Roman Catholic section
• Orthodox section
• Asian section
• Green burial section

The unique design of Rosehill allows for family groupings, with plots separated by shrub and tree plantings throughout our peaceful and tranquil property.

Rosehill Cemetery operates as a non-profit organization and is owned and operated by the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Edmonton. As such, we operate our cemetery on a "cost recovery" model and do not charge GST for most of our services. None of our associates earn commission through the services they provide, so you can rest assured that every decision we help you make will have your best interests and well-being in mind.

The Eparchy decided to open Rosehill in 1999, recognizing the need for an interdenominational cemetery in SW Edmonton that would serve all faiths and cultures with dignity and respect.
